Phenomenal Woman Pretty women wonder where my secret lies. I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size But when I start to tell them, They think I'm telling lies. --This poem by Maya Angelou I had the pleasure to come across one day while reading poems online while I was at work. At the time of my life when I came across this poem I've gained alot of weight &nd I was in a relationship that was very unhealthy for me. I was very insecure about myself and the way I looked I didn't have very much self-confident in me. After reading this poem there was something that hit a nerve in my brain it took me awhile to get a grip on it. I read this poem alot probably couple times a week or every other week. I made a post in my blog on myspace to keep this poem so I wouldn't lose it. It brought me to see myself for the way I am for the way God made me. My flaws and all too always love myself for myself good or bad, skinny or fat, on my pretty days and on my ugly days. It took me awhile to finally find happiness in the way I look the new me to accept everything about me. To walk with my head held high to not care what people thought about me or how they saw me. I may still not have the body I used to have but at this point in my life I am trying to achieve it again but for me & no one else. If I don't seem to achieve the way my body used to look it won't bother me I'll still be happy with myself. It let me know my worth and never to walk with my head down always with it held up high! I hope that every woman in the world has a chance to read this poem at least once in there life & take that strong impression that Maya Angelou is trying to get across to us women. If we can't accept and love ourselves for the way we are how can we expect another to do the same towards us. I hope this empowers women out there too love themselves flaws and all we all can't be the same so that is what makes us all different, that is what makes us all BEAUTIFUL in this world. So with all of that said I hope all you beautiful ladies out there will someday love yourself just for yourself and not be what society thinks we all should be like...

Fist Pump kause its the Weekend...chee hooo =)

TOdays song of the day is Sexii Bitch by David Guetta Ft. Akon. I came across this song this morning while I was at work listening to the radio. It got me fist pumping away and for some strange reason it got stuck in my head the whole day. What is everyones plans for the weekend? Mine is work I've only had 1 day off this whole week. There is graduation tonight for my cousin so I am going to that then dinner afterwards. Besides the usual staying home and going to the gym im a pretty boring when it comes to the weekends hahahahaha nothing much to do on Maui anyways. Whatever you all have planed out for this weekend be safe out there...always buckle up and don't drink and drive =) its always a good idea to have a DD on hand & if one is not around just take a taxi =) HAVE FUN!!

Wal-Greens Haul of Goodies

So yesterday I went to Wal-Greens in Kahului because I needed a "couple" of things. Yeah a "couple" of things & I ended up coming out of Wal-Greens with all of this. I just went all out like a little kid in a candy store. So I need some foundation since i used up all of my MARK foundation. I am not really picking on foundation as long as it doesn't break me up & it does the job hey im happy with it. So I picked up the famous Revlon colorstay foundation in 360 Golden Caramel. I must say with this foundation is FABALOUS!!! I love it love it love it so far. It goes on smoothly & has great coverage & hello it varies from price ranges $10 to $12 bucks that is it. I enjoy this better then my M.A.C foundation cause it hasn't broke me out yet, lets hope it doesn't at all =) I also picked up Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Pads its suppose to reduce redness and any pimple from getting worse then what it already is. I've gotten a Flat Iron Sheer Smooth Heat Memory pretty much its a heat protection when you flat iron or blow dry your hair. I'm running out of my Nexus heat protection so I figure I try something new. Got Garnier Fructis Leave in Conditioner also I am running low on the leave in conditioner that I normally use so I figure I try something new. Got me some new nail polishes that I can't wait to try out. I do my nails every sunday evening so im excited. I've seen these nail polishes in a youtuber that i subscribe to & she said she really liked them so hey why not try it out right =). So the brand of them are Sinful Colors Professional & I got the colors All about you, Daddys Girl, Dancing Nails, Aqua, Call you Later & I miss you which all cost $1.99 each hello awesome deals right! Also to my shopping spree I bought my favorite liquid liner Revlon Colorstay in Blackest black & Relvon colorstay eyeliner in black. Got some Loreal H.I.P Jelly Balms in Ripe & Delectable love there jelly balms its awesome. Got some Blistex Raspberry Lemonade lip protection gotta protect your lips from that summer sun and also some Make-up sponges for couple up coming weddings I'll be doing its easier to apply foundation that way and then work it in with a brush when your doing a job. Last but not least some Q-Tips no one likes to have waxy ears *GROSS* hahahahaha. I went a little overboard seeing that I only needed 3 things and ended up walking out with 18 items I believe. I am happy with the things I got can't complain about anything at the moment. Song of the day

Todays song of the day is "Be My Wife" by my favorite band in Hawaii by far Rebel Souljahz. The first time I've seen them perform it was "Love at first sight" & I have loved there music every since. Their lovers rock vibe is addiciting. This song is on there sophomore album called Bring Back the Days. I must say that there whole album is SOLID how we like to say it in Hawaii. There isn't 1 song on the CD that I don't like. There sweet melody's will make you fall in love with them and there music. It is very age appropriate & anyone will love it. They were on there West Coast & New Zealand Tour with another band called Katchafire but are now heading back home to Hawaii. I hope you all enjoy the song choice of the day &nd I hope it brings a smile too your face as it does to mine when i hear it =)

Starting all over again

So I had a very established blog here on blogpost that I have made because I set up my youtube channel. Since it was all the rave with the beauty community that many Gurus had blogs out there I made one for myself (given that was like 2 years ago). I have updated when I could & did what i could on my blog so forth and so forth. So today as I wanted to update my blog and just go ahead and write some new blog post I realize that um hello i forgot my log-in information. I have no idea what email i had it set up too and what the password too. That is the problem when you have too much emails and passwords to keep track of I should be like many people who write them down and put it in like a tablet or something. Yes I did not what so ever have the bright idea in my head when I made my original blog. So here I sit at work on my lunch break setting up this new blog and learning from my last mistake I have wrote down my log-in information so I won't forget. At least now the email that I am using for this blog will be put into good use because I was originally using it for nothing...So I am happily back with my blog and excited to be blogging again I don't want to get out of the loop of blogging again because I might have to start another one...hopefully not!
